Due to the fire booster being unreliable and not able to confirm with the current standards, we designed and constructed a new complaint system in a very restricted space.
We agreed a very tight timescale with the client to allow the old equipment to be removed and all of the new equipment installed with minimal disruption to operational activates at site.
We designed and installed a new Form 4 Motor control centre to control the main fire pump, diesel standby pump and jockey pump booster set. We also installed new fire booster pumps, both electric and diesel driven and a new jockey twin pump set.
The layout with the building was reconfigured to give better access for future maintenance.
The building was also refurbished with new double doors, replacement facia, guttering, soffits and decoration of the internal walls.
