IWS, a key business within SSI Services, part of South Staffordshire Plc, has purchased Green Compliance’s water hygiene business (“Green Compliance”) from its parent company, APC, with immediate effect.

APC had made the decision that Green Compliance’s service offering was not core to the rest of its Group.

SSI Services is the specialist contracting arm of South Staffordshire Plc – it provides a broad range of specialist services from design through installation, testing and repair to long term maintenance contracts. The businesses within SSI Services include OnSite, Hydrosave, Fleet Services, Omega Red and IWS.

IWS provides a full water hygiene offering and we believe that the overall fit with IWS, with its 2000 customers and ability to manage 42,000 sites nationwide, will work particularly well as it further strengthens the UK business. This will confirm IWS as one of the largest water hygiene businesses in the UK, by continuing to expand the geographical coverage provided and enhancing the ability to provide a high quality service nationwide.
